Maybe you've wondered what the big deal was with these new mixes. What is it about their names and cute little button noses that bring hordes of people to the nearest designer dog breeders?

Many people are opposed to the deliberate crossbreeding of dogs. Mainly because it seems to have become a big money making scam.

Schnoodle, Labradoodle and maltipoo just some of the cute new hybrids that are massively popular with those seeking a special kind of puppy, one that was deliberately bred to suit your lifestyle, and of course your purses.
These fashion mixes have been around for awhile. Even Queen Elizabeth is famous Corgi has mated with her sister's Dachshund Dorgi a result.

Most crossbreeding occurs randomly, and this Mixed Breed Dogs should not be confused with deliberately bred hybrid. To call himself a 'designer dog' parents, the dog must be purebred and different breeds.

within the various mixed dog populations are relatively large gene pool. These dogs are quality from generation to generation hybrids others before them. It is said to be good for the dog.

One problem with purebred dogs is that the genetic pool is relatively small. While many sought-after attribute is enhanced, so that some health problems. At least with a purebred dog is a long and well documented list of things to expect. For every aspect of your dog's health, temperament and personality, there are many people who owned these dogs. Many families are growing through their generation and I know a lot about the breeds they specialize in

This is a very complex science. At it's best breeders to improve the species. I can not say that creating a kind better suited for modern human life (by fitting conveniently in a bag) is what is best for the future of species. By creating a kind of scientific selection of the breeder dogs are stronger more full of vitality than any of the known breeds.

Only time will tell if this new breed will become officially recognized. The new breed has to go through many hoops before they officially became recognized.

Although many of these dogs are large followings, but there is much resistance from the purebred dog camp.
Poo-dogs and designer Mutts can be fashionable, but now it will not seem so wonderful when their eyes are popping out of their sockets!

Designer Dogs vs. Mutts

Let's first begin by recognizing that all current AKC dog breeds to find there the origin of the Wolf, Dingo, or some other wild dog. Currently, the AKC recognizes over 150 breeds and also has a smaller sub-categories for rare breeds and those pending full recognition. All of these 150 breeds has emerged as a designer dog, which can be defined as the intentional crossing of different dogs to create some desired properties. Greyhounds are the breed for speed, St. Bernard is the strength and courage, and a Chihuahua for companionship and portability. However, the public is suddenly disturbed by the idea that people wanted to take the best traits of certain breeds and combine them to meet the needs and desires of our daily lives.

to the surprise of many people Labradoodle, which is responsible for the recent surge and designer pets first started almost two decades ago. People found the need for guide dogs who have asthma and allergy friendly. Having realized the great advantages of such features in a dog, we slowly began to experiment with different combinations. Some have the look, but most were for real, the real reasons that could benefit the public. Now we have a very wide selection of designer dogs in various sizes that owners with allergies to most dogs can choose from. 30 years ago, these individuals would never have the luxury of owning a pet.

As you can see from the above point of this type of crossover for a healthy, more compatible dogs is nothing new at all. 2000 years ago people were getting the biggest breeds and combining them to create larger and stronger offspring that could help guide the efforts of many times. Over the centuries, various hybrids proved very popular and stopped crossing and the crossing point between similar dogs began to maintain the appearance and characteristics that have worked so hard to hone in on. That's how we came to recognize the different breeds as "Pure Breeds ".

So critics Hybrid / Designer dogs I ask: "How do you think we arrived at the AKC recognized purebred dogs today?". Now it seems like dogs more as companions than as employees and therefore have changed the properties desired in our pets. To argue the importance of hybrid dogs is wrong that we can clearly see the benefits of this system. However, I do not understand the argument for the opposition to make up the designer dog has really led to the puppy mills and the horrible conditions of life are just as many breeds of puppies as possible. This is a real argument that I have previously explained on my website. As with everything that is in high demand, there will always be copycats sold less than the nominal value of the product to the dollar. This is also true in the world of designer dogs. If you are not careful and make sure you buy from a reputable breeder than they are feeding directly into an image that was cast over the world of hybrid dogs. Without the help of real farmers and honest buyers of hybrids will never be able to achieve a level of consistency required to be recognized as pure breeds. In addition, all the hard work we have done in creating dogs that are healthy will be lost due to poor breeding standards and requirements. So be aware of this behavior and avoid buying "discount" hybrid puppy from your local pet store.

Please be sure all these points into consideration and feel free to provide feedback on this topic. I'm always looking for new options on the issue. Also, check out my web site about Puggles for more information on reputable breeders and breed information.
