Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-TX7 - What's So Special?

Sony people are doing product photos forever. Therefore, they should be able to produce the next best camera, right? Is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC TX7 it? The next best camera, I think.

Taking a look at the features and specs, you get the sense that there is another in a sea of digital point and shoot camera. Nothing really jumps up and says: "Hey, I'm special !"

OK, maybe a special appearance, especially when compared to the Canons and Nikons and Kodaks. TX7 is quite elegant and beautiful. It's kind of looks like it could be a cell phone in there when you pull the cover. But the keyboard does not appear, just a cute little lens. And it does not look impressive either.

All that said, this little point and shoot digital camera is really getting praise from f olks who laid down their hard cash to buy. Just take a look at user reviews at online stores such as Amazon and B & H Photo - users are loudly proclaiming their satisfaction with this camera

.

a couple of really cool things are worth mentioning here. (You can check out all the technical specifications for yourself .)

The first item is the video. Sony has been a leader in this field, and Sony DSC TX7 is right up there with the best of them. You can download full 1080p HD video with this puppy. However, 720p is probably good enough quality to save space on your memory card. That is unless you are planning to show their high quality videos on the big screen in Cinema Movieplex-12 theaters.

Speaking of storage, sony taught us all the favor of adding extra storage slot for SD cards more popular than its own Memory Stick "storage units.

Another thing that deserves attention is the low-light images. All camera manufacturers have focused on this right now, and Sony seems to have nailed it with his technology. You can take pictures in dark areas without using a flash, and it includes a movie mode as well,

Another thing that's really cool is what they call "Smart Sweep Panorama Mode". This is the best thing since bread. You hold the shutter button while the camera sweep across the landscape, the camera captures a bunch of pictures and stitches them together into a seamless picture. The results are quite surprising.

Of course, there's more. So it is impressive that the Sony Cyber-shot TX7 made in the Top 5 point and shoot camera rate, independent lists formulated by yours truly as a measure of customer satisfaction with a point and shoot camera.
