The Puggle

One of the hottest hybrid breeds in the United States today, Puggle was first cultivated in 1980. It was only in 2005 that this cross between a male and female Pug Beagle caught the imagination of the people with his wonderful personality and looks to become the most wanted hybrids. Unlike the mix of breeds, which are crosses between three or more breeds, it is possible to predict temperament, health care and the appearance of hybrids.

Appearance
Puggle is a stocky body and grows to about 10-15 inches at the shoulder and 15-30 pounds in adulthood. Head size can vary from one dog to another, with some Puggles have a larger and fuller head, while others are thinner and smaller heads.

Grooming and care
lifespan of this breed is a hybrid between 10 and 15 years, although the average Puggles tend to have a life expectancy almost 15 years. This is not a hypoallergenic dog, so that people who are allergic to Pugs and Beagles may be allergic to the Puggle.

This is a low-maintenance dog and basic care and care can prevent most health problems. Puggles should be bathed once a month to avoid dry, itchy skin.
